Offered here is an exceptionally well-optioned, garage-kept 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LT K1500 4-Door 4WD. This vehicle has been under the care of its original owner since it rolled off the dealership lot and comes complete with its original factory window sticker, immaculate interior preservation, and a completely clear history.
THE MILEAGE & ENGINE STORY (The Best of Both Worlds)
* Chassis Mileage: 249,000 original, meticulously maintained miles.
* Current Engine (In Truck): Only 72,869 miles. The original engine suffered a minor head issue. Rather than opt for a quick patch-job, the original owner invested $5,000 out-of-pocket for a brand-new, factory-identical 5.7L Vortec V8 installed directly by the Chevrolet dealership (All documentation and receipts are included). COSMETIC CONDITION & TRANSPARENCY
This truck is incredibly solid, highly functional, and mechanically sound. To ensure absolute transparency for online bidders, please note that this vehicle has NEVER had any rust break through the sheet metal. The frame, undercarriage, floors, and interior plastics remain in a stunning, well-preserved state. All minor cosmetic paint bubbling is fully documented and shown in the auction photos so you know exactly what to expect. These isolated areas were previously addressed back in 2015:
* The Roof & Windshield Area: Years ago, a glass shop scratched the paint while removing the windshield, causing surface rust at the top line of the windshield. The roof was professionally repainted to avoid a blend line and all rubber rub strips were completely replaced with genuine OEM Chevrolet parts in 2015. The roof remains straight, dent-free, and highly glossy. The paint has a few very minimal bubbles along the windshield line (pictured next to a dime for scale in the photo gallery).
* Preserved Roof Rails: The factory roof rack cross rails were deliberately removed early on to make washing and hand-waxing the roof easier. They have been kept carefully wrapped in styrofoam and are included, perfectly preserved.
* Rear Passenger-Side Dog Leg & Both Wheel Arches: The driver-side dog leg is completely clean and bubble-free. The passenger-side dog leg and both of the rear wheel arch openings show very minimal spots of cosmetic paint bubbling. These areas were professionally treated and repainted in 2015, and the underlying sheet metal remains completely solid and intact. All spots are clearly shown in the photo gallery.
* Rear Barn Doors: There is paint bubbling across the bottom of both rear barn doors. It does not span the entire length, but appears in a few isolated spots on each door. These flaws are explicitly photographed and can be clearly evaluated in proportion to the top of the bumper and the factory body lines.
* Passenger side view mirror has a partial crack in the black housing which was glued (see photo).
AUCTION TERMS, PAYMENTS & LOGISTICS
* US BUYERS ONLY: This auction is strictly restricted to buyers located within the United States. International bids and international shipping collection agencies will not be accepted.
* Reserve Price: A reasonable reserve has been set to protect the massive investment in the dealer-installed engine and the original matching long block.
* Immediate Deposit: The winning bidder must submit the required $250 deposit through eBay Checkout within 24 hours of the auction's close.
* Final Balance Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full within 7 business days via certified bank wire transfer or cash in person upon collection. The truck, the clean title, and the spare engine block will not be released until all funds have completely cleared my bank.
* Spare Engine Logistics: The buyer is entirely responsible for all vehicle shipping and transport logistics. Please note: You must bring a truck, trailer, or vehicle capable of safely hauling the spare original numbers-matching long block away from my climate-controlled garage at the exact time the Tahoe is collected.
